About Us:
Join the team at Barra Reef Divers, the longest-running dive center in the Barra region, Inhambane, Mozambique. Established by Russel Walster in 2002, Barra Reef Divers has grown into a premier dive center with a stunning location just meters from the Indian Ocean. In 2019, Russel and Jackie realized their dream by completing the construction of a beautiful dive center featuring a private pool, bar, and restaurant. Our dive training pool is the largest and deepest in the country, reflecting the easygoing nature of Mozambique.
Russel and Jackie, both SSI Instructors, bring over 60 years of combined experience to Barra Reef Divers. Russel, with over 40 years in the industry, is an Assistant Instructor Trainer with SSI and has extensive knowledge as a former CMAS, TDI, and SDI Instructor. Barra Reef Divers is an SSI/Mares affiliated Professional Dive Career Development Facility, offering training from entry-level diving to Instructor level.
Beyond diving, we provide Ocean Safaris, scenic island trips, and fishing charters, aiming to give our guests a memorable experience in our ‘one-stop-shop’ for all water activities in the Inhambane area.
We are seeking an SSI Open Water Instructor who is:
Great with people.
Knowledgeable about social media marketing.
Required Instructor Qualification:
Open Water Instructor
Required Language Skills:
English
Portuguese (Europe)
Desirable Qualifications:
Driving License
Boat Skipper License
Administrational Skills/Office Experience
Management Knowledge/Degree
Marketing Knowledge/Degree
Diving Equipment Technician
