Job Description

Reeflex is seeking an outgoing, cheerful, and service-oriented individual with excellent leadership and management skills for the role of General Manager. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in the dive industry, as the GM will oversee all aspects of running the dive center (training will be provided). The GM will play a crucial role in developing sales, opening new markets, and maintaining the highest standards in dive safety and customer care.

GM Duties Include:

  • Working flexible hours.
  • Opening and/or closing the shop.
  • Serving as the “face” of Reeflex and representing the company’s ethos.
  • Scheduling daily activities (pool sessions, boat trips, shore dives, etc.).
  • Ensuring impeccable customer experiences.
  • Meeting the needs of partners.
  • Maintaining a welcoming, professional, and positive work atmosphere.
  • Supervising various teams within the dive center.
  • Overseeing maintenance of the Dive Centre’s infrastructure.
  • Organizing staff meetings and providing clear directions.
  • Managing human resources and interacting with local and regional administration.
  • Ensuring the dive center’s supplies are appropriately stocked.
  • Managing financial, legal, and administrative compliance.
  • Producing financial, operational, and marketing reports.
  • Enforcing company policies and SSI standards.

The Ideal Profile:
The ideal candidate is outgoing, cheerful, and service-oriented. They are computer literate, a fast learner, meticulous, organized, and possess excellent prioritization skills. Proficiency in English is essential, and fluency in French or other European languages is a significant plus. Work experience in Indonesia and proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia are ideal. The ideal candidate is passionate and knowledgeable about scuba diving, with a proven track record in the industry.

Required Instructor Qualification:

  • Dive Guide/Divemaster
  • Open Water Instructor
