Are you a passionate diver with a keen interest in sharks? Join the Shark Dive Xtreme team at SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium! We are seeking part-time and casual Shark Dive Instructors to deliver memorable SCUBA experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate and conduct introductory SCUBA sessions for guests.
Ensure high-quality guest experiences and adherence to dive industry standards.
Deliver safety briefs and in-water skill sessions, prioritizing the safety of guests, staff, and animals.
Manage general administration tasks, including accurate record-keeping for dive logs and customer medical forms.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of diving equipment and associated areas.
Facilitate the smooth transition of divers through the Shark Dive experience.
Ability to work weekends, public holidays, and varying rosters based on operational needs.

Job Offer Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
Experience in conducting open water courses and introductory dives, holding an Active Open Water Instructor status (SDI/SSI/PADI or equivalent).
Current First Aid and Oxygen provider certificates.
Current AS.2299 Dive Medical (or willingness to complete).
BSBWHS211 – Contribute to health and safety of self and others (or equivalent).
Strong communication skills, flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Valid Australian working rights.

Highly Regarded Qualifications:
Tertiary qualification in Marine Science or Captive animals.
ADAS Commercial Diver qualification.
Equipment maintenance qualification.
